      Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Bill [HL] The report was received. Amendments 4, 12, 16 (see division 1), 17, 20, 21 and 26 were agreed to. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 96)

      Housing and Planning Act 2016 (Database of Rogue Landlords and Property Agents) Regulations 2018 Lord Kennedy of Southwark moved that this House regrets that the Housing and Planning Act 2016 (Database of Rogue Landlords and Property Agents) Regulations 2018 do not allow tenants access to the database of rogue landlords and property agents, therefore severely restricting potential tenants’ ability to make informed choices and protect themselves (SI 2018/258). After debate, the motion was disagreed to (see division 2).

    Draft Health Service Safety Investigations Bill A message was bought from the Commons they concur that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of Lords and Commons be appointed to consider and report on any draft Health Service Safety Investigations Bill presented to both Houses: That the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 24 July 2018. That a Select Committee of six Members be appointed to join with the Committee appointed by the Lords to consider the draft Health Service Safety Investigations Bill. That the Committee shall have power— (a) to send for persons, papers and records, (b) to sit notwithstanding any adjournment of the House, (c) to report from time to time, (d) to appoint specialist advisers, and (e) to adjourn from place to place.
