Lord Randall of Uxbridge The Rt Hon. Sir Alexander John Randall, Knight, having been created Baron Randall of Uxbridge, of Uxbridge in the London Borough of Hillingdon, for life by Letters Patent dated 25 June 2018, was introduced between Lord Young of Cookham and Baroness Fall, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.2
Lord Carrington The Lord Speaker (Lord Fowler) informed the House that Lord Carrington, a member of the House, had died on 9 July.3

Northern Ireland Budget (No.2) Bill A bill to authorise the issue out of the Consolidated Fund of Northern Ireland of certain sums for the service of the year ending 31 March 2019; to appropriate those sums for specified purposes; to authorise the Department of Finance in Northern Ireland to borrow on the credit of the appropriated sums; to authorise the use for the public service of certain resources (including accruing resources) for the year ending 31 March 2019; and to repeal certain spent provisions, certified by the Speaker as a money bill, was brought from the Commons.
