      Middle Level Bill The bill was read a third time. Then the bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments.

      Non-Domestic Rating (Nursery Grounds) Bill Lord Young of Cookham, on behalf of Lord Bourne of Aberystwyth, moved that the bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House. The motion was agreed to.

     House of Lords (Hereditary Peers) (Abolition of By-Elections) Bill [HL] Lord Grocott moved that the bill be reported from the Committee of the Whole House in respect of proceedings up to amendment 35A; and that, for the remainder of the bill, the order of commitment of 8 September 2017 be discharged and the bill be committed to a Grand Committee. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
