Highgate Cemetery Bill [HL] The Senior Deputy Speaker (Lord McFall of Alcluith) reported that, in accordance with Private Business Standing Order 92 (Unopposed bill to be treated as opposed), any unopposed clauses of the bill should be considered by the Select Committee appointed on 15 December 2020 to consider the bill.

Ecclesiastical Committee The Lord Speaker (Lord Fowler) acquainted the House that, pursuant to section 2 of the Church of England Assembly (Powers) Act 1919, he had nominated Lord Field of Birkenhead to be a member of the Ecclesiastical Committee in place of Lord Elton, and to serve for the duration of the present Parliament.

Tackling intergenerational unfairness (Intergenerational Fairness and Provision Committee Report) Lord Price moved that the Grand Committee takes note of the Report from the Select Committee on Intergenerational Fairness and Provision Tackling intergenerational unfairness (HL Paper 329, Session 2017–19). After debate, the motion was agreed to. (at 14:49)
