The House met at 10.00am. Prayers were read by the Lord Bishop of Liverpool. (at 10:00)
Item number 1
Notification of retirement The Clerk of the Parliaments informed the House that he had received written notice from the following members of the House under section 1 of the House of Lords Reform Act 2014 stating that they would retire from the House: Lord Coe on 31 January Lord Rotherwick on 1 February.

Procedure and Privileges The following Report from the Select Committee was made and ordered to be printed: Divisions: pass-readers; sessional select committees; participation of eligible members in oral statements and repeated urgent questions. (6th Report, HL Paper 152)
Item number 3
Status of Workers Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time. The amendment was agreed to. Then the bill was passed and sent to the Commons. (at 10:05)
Item number 4
Digital Economy Act 2017 (Commencement of Part 3) Bill [HL] Lord Morrow moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House. (at 10:14)
Item number 5
Representation of the People (Young People's Enfranchisement) Bill [HL] Lord Adonis moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House. (at 11:55)
