Energy (Oil and Gas) Profits Levy Bill A bill to make provision for, and in connection with, imposing a charge on ring fence profits of companies, certified by the Speaker as a money bill, was brought from the Commons and read a first time. (at 15:20)

Schools Bill [HL] After debate, the report was received. Amendments 4, 6 to 9, 11 to 29, 35, 36, 39, 40, 48 to 56 and 61 were agreed to. Amendments 30 and 58 were disagreed to (see divisions 1 and 2). The report stage was adjourned after amendment 61. (at 15:21)

Building etc. (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2022 Baroness Hayman of Ullock moved that this House regrets that the Building etc. (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2022 will not apply to a significant number of buildings and that it has taken five years since the Grenfell Tower tragedy for the regulations to be laid (SI 2022/603).
