Notification of retirement The Clerk of the Parliaments informed the House that he had received written notice from Baroness Bryan of Partick under section 1 of the House of Lords Reform Act 2014 stating that she would retire from the House on 25 July.

Mortgage Prisoners Inquiry Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time. A privilege amendment was agreed to. Then, after debate, the bill was passed and sent to the Commons.

UK constitution: oversight and responsibility (Constitution Report) Lord Beith moved that this House takes note of the Report from the Constitution Committee Executive oversight and responsibility for the UK constitution (6th Report, HL Paper 72). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

Still-Birth (Definition) Bill [HL] Baroness Benjamin moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.

Imprisonment for Public Protection (Re-sentencing) Bill [HL] The bill was considered in Committee. Amendments were considered. The House resumed and the bill was reported without amendment.
