Dukedom of Beaufort in the Peerage of England The Lord Chancellor reported that John Henry Somerset (otherwise known as Henry John FitzRoy Somerset) had established his claim to the Dukedom of Beaufort in the Peerage of England. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter the Duke of Beaufort on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5).3
Leave of Absence Leave of absence was granted to Lord Browne of Madingley for the remainder of this Parliament.
