Assisted Dying Bill [HL] Baroness Meacher moved that the bill be now read a second time. Then Lord Winston moved, as an amendment to the motion that the bill be read a second time, at the end to insert “but that this House considers that the bill should refer to euthanasia rather than assisted dying.” After debate, the amendment was withdrawn.
