Summary
Train Driving Licences and Certificates (Amendment) Regulations 2022 Baroness Vere of Norbiton moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 2 December 2021 be approved. Then Lord Berkeley moved, as an amendment to the motion, at the end insert “but that this House regrets that the regulations, while providing interoperability for train drivers between Ashford and Calais, do not extend to full European Union and United Kingdom interoperability in a similar manner to drivers of Heavy Good Vehicles.” After debate, the motion was withdrawn. Then the original motion was agreed to.
