A committee was appointed to propose reasons. The Committee proposed the following reasons for insisting on Lords amendments 73, 74B, 74C, 74D, 74E, 74F, 74G and 87, insisting on disagreeing to Commons amendments 74A, 87A, 87B, 87C, 87D, 87E and 87F and disagreeing to Commons amendments 73C and 87H:
“Because the Lords wish the Commons to consider the matter again.”
The reasons were agreed to. The bill was returned to the Commons with reasons and an amendment.
