Procedure and Privileges The Senior Deputy Speaker (Lord Gardiner of Kimble) moved that a Select Committee on Procedure and Privileges be appointed and that the following members together with the Senior Deputy Speaker be appointed to the Committee:
and that the following members be appointed as alternate members:
That the Committee have power to appoint sub-committees and that the Committee have power to appoint the Chairs of sub-committees;
That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records;
That the Committee have leave to report from time to time;
That the reports of the Committee be printed, regardless of any adjournment of the House.
The motion was agreed to en bloc.
