Summary
Universal Credit (Transitional Provisions) Amendment Regulations 2022 Baroness Sherlock moved that this House regrets that the Universal Credit (Transitional Provisions) Amendment Regulations 2022 (SI 2022/752) do not take adequate steps to protect claimants from financial hardship removing (1) the requirement to evaluate the managed migration programme after the initial 10,000 claimants have been transferred, and (2) the obligation to involve Parliament in the decision to expand the rollout of the programme nationally. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
