Summary
Drivers’ Hours, Tachographs, International Road Haulage and Licensing of Operators (Amendment) Regulations 2022 Baroness Vere of Norbiton moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 5 July 2022 be approved. Then Lord Berkeley moved, as an amendment to the motion, at end insert "but that this House regrets that the Regulations introduce a requirement for new tachograph equipment in goods vehicles weighing more than 2.5 tonnes on international journeys without providing evidence of the availability and cost of that equipment". After debate, the amendment was withdrawn. Then the original motion was agreed to.
