Data Protection (Adequacy) (United States of America) Regulations 2023 Lord Clement-Jones moved that this House regrets the Data Protection (Adequacy) (United States of America) Regulations 2023 (SI 2023/1028) and regrets in particular (1) the absence of an Impact Assessment at the time it was laid; (2) the lack of any public consultation; and (3) that the explanatory material laid in support does not provide sufficient information to gain a necessary understanding of the instrument's policy objective and intended implementation. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
