Lord Mendelsohn to ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Williams of Trafford on 25 July (HL689), and in the light of the requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that "the responsible person must make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks", whether they amended that Order to allow a person other than the responsible person to "undertake the risk assessment on their behalf"; and if so, through what mechanism.
