Baroness Barker to ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord O'Shaughnessy on 12 October (HL1633), whether they have considered the potential discriminatory effects of the remedial order against infertile single women, particularly those who use surrogacy to have a child if their eggs or embryos have been rendered infertile, or who have had their uterus removed as a result of cancer or other illness, or have been born with functioning ovaries but not a uterus.
