Draft Parliamentary Buildings (Restoration and Renewal) Bill A message was brought from the Commons that they concur with the resolution of this House of 23 October relating to a Joint Committee to consider and report on the draft Parliamentary Buildings (Restoration and Renewal) Bill presented to both Houses on 18 October (Cm 9710) and that they have made the following orders:
That the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 28 March 2019.
That a Select Committee of six Members be appointed to join with the Committee appointed by the Lords for this purpose.
That the Committee shall have power:
(a) to send for persons, papers and records;
(b) to sit notwithstanding any adjournment of the House;
(c) to report from time to time;
(d) to appoint specialist advisers; and
(e) to adjourn from place to place within the United Kingdom.
That the quorum of the committee shall be three.
