State Aid (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 Lord Henley moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 21 January 2019 be approved. Then Lord Stevenson of Balmacara moved, as an amendment to the motion, at the end insert “but that this House regrets that the draft Regulations are not accompanied by a strategy or consultation on the use of state aid after the United Kingdom has left the European Union”. After debate, the amendment was withdrawn. Then the original motion was agreed to.
