Summary
Mobile Roaming (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 Lord Ashton of Hyde moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 4 February 2019 be approved. Then Lord Stevenson of Balmacara moved, as an amendment to the motion, at the end insert “but that this House regrets that the draft Regulations do not, contrary to the recommendation of several consumer bodies, make provision for the maintenance of surcharge-free roaming for customers in the United Kingdom”. After debate, the amendment was withdrawn. Then the original motion was agreed to.
