4 London Local Authorities and Transport for London (No. 2) Bill [HL] The Chairman of Committees moved that this House resolves that the promoters of the London Local Authorities and Transport for London (No. 2)Bill [HL] which was originally introduced in this House in session 2007–08 on 22 January 2008 should have leave to proceed with the bill in the current session in accordance with the provisions of Private Business Standing Order 150B (Revival of bills). The motion was agreed to and a message was sent to the Commons.

5 Transport for London (Supplemental Toll Provisions) Bill [HL] The Chairman of Committees moved that this House resolves that the promoters of the Transport for London (Supplemental Toll Provisions) Bill [HL] which was originally introduced in this House in session 2006–07 on 22 January 2007 should have leave to proceed with the bill in the current session in accordance with the provisions of Private Business Standing Order 150B (Revival of bills). The motion was agreed to and a message was sent to the Commons.

9 Housing: Market Renewal partnerships A question was asked by Lord Greaves and answered by Baroness Hanham.

10 House Committee The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Alderdice be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Addington, resigned. The motion was agreed to.

11 Liaison The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Alderdice be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Addington, resigned, and that Lord Campbell-Savours be appointed a member of the Select Committee. The motion was agreed to.

12 Korean peninsula: human rights A question was asked by Lord Alton of Liverpool and, after debate, answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.

13 Saville Inquiry Lord Strathclyde repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

14 Poverty A question was asked by Lord Kirkwood of Kirkhope and, after debate, answered by Lord Freud.

15 Drugs and crime A question was asked by Baroness Meacher and, after debate, answered by Lord McNally.
