Prayers were read by the Lord Bishop of Gloucester.
1 Baroness Sherlock Maeve Christina Mary Sherlock, OBE, having been created Baroness Sherlock, of Durham in the County of Durham, for life by Letters Patent dated 17 June 2010, was introduced between Baroness Hollis of Heigham and Baroness Prosser, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 1)
2 Lord Bannside The Rt Hon Ian Richard Kyle Paisley, having been created Baron Bannside, of North Antrim in the County of Antrim, for life by Letters Patent dated 18 June 2010, was introduced between Baroness Boothroyd and Lord Morrow, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 2)
3 Baroness Drake Jean Lesley Patricia Drake, CBE, having been created Baroness Drake, of Shene in the County of Surrey, for life by Letters Patent dated 20 June 2010, was introduced between Baroness Warwick of Undercliffe and Lord Young of Norwood Green, made and subscribed the solemn affirmation and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 3)
4 Oath John Herbert Lord McCluskey took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.

10 Transport Earl Attlee moved that this House takes note of the case for safe and sustainable transport and its role in generating future economic growth and prosperity. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
11 Political and constitutional reform Lord McNally repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
12 Education: funding Lord Hill of Oareford repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
13 State Pension Credit Pilot Scheme Regulations 2010 Lord Freud moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 10 March be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
