1 Lord Boswell of Aynho Timothy Eric Boswell, Esquire, having been created Baron Boswell of Aynho, of Aynho in the County of Northamptonshire, for life by Letters Patent dated 8 July 2010, was introduced between Lord Brooke of Sutton Mandeville and Baroness Deech, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 1)
2 Baroness Stedman-Scott Deborah Stedman-Scott, OBE, having been created Baroness Stedman-Scott, of Rolvenden in the County of Kent, for life by Letters Patent dated 12 July 2010, was introduced between Baroness Fookes and Lord Freud, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 2)
3 Baroness Parminter Kathryn Jane Parminter, having been created Baroness Parminter, of Godalming in the County of Surrey, for life by Letters Patent dated 15 July 2010, was introduced between Baroness Scott of Needham Market and Baroness Bonham-Carter of Yarnbury, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. 5 City of Westminster Bill [HL] The Chairman of Committees reported that, in accordance with Private Business Standing Order 92 (Unopposed bill to be treated as opposed), any unopposed clauses of the bill should be considered by the Select Committee appointed on 8 July 2010 to consider the bill.

6 Health: prostate cancer A question was asked by Baroness Royall of Blaisdon and answered by Earl Howe.

10 European Union Membership (Economic Implications) Bill [HL] Lord Pearson of Rannoch presented a bill to establish a Committee of Inquiry into the economic implications for the United Kingdom of membership of the European Union. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 16)
11 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that Standing Order 40 (Arrangement of the order paper) be dispensed with on 22 July to allow the motion standing in the name of Lord Mackenzie of Framwellgate to be taken before the motion standing in the name of Lord McKenzie of Luton. The motion was agreed to.
12 Legislative Reform (Licensing) (Interim Authority Notices etc.) Order 2010 Baroness Rawlings moved that the draft Legislative Reform Order laid before the House on 10 March be approved. The motion was agreed to.
13 Terrorism Act 2006 (Disapplication of Section 25) Order 2010 Baroness Neville-Jones moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 24 June be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
14 Child Trust Funds (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2010 Lord Sassoon moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 29 June be approved. Then Lord Davies of Oldham moved, as an amendment to the original motion, at end to insert "but this House regrets that the Regulations will end a successful savings scheme; will not protect those on the lowest incomes and those with disabilities; will widen inequality and fail the test of fairness; and will not foster a savings culture in the next generation." After debate, the amendment was disagreed to (see division list). Then the original motion was agreed to.
15 Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Contribution to Costs of Special Resolution Regime) Regulations 2010 Lord Sassoon moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 5 June be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
16 National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999 (Amendment) Regulations 2010 Baroness Wilcox moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 6 June be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
17 Armed Forces Act (Continuation) Order 2010 Lord Wallace of Saltaire moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 2 June be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
18 Fishing Boats (Electronic Transmission of Fishing Activities Data) (England) Scheme 2010 Lord Henley moved that the draft Scheme laid before the House on 16 June be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
