1 Baroness Healy of Primrose Hill Anna Mary Healy, having been created Baroness Healy of Primrose Hill, of Primrose Hill in the London Borough of Camden, for life by Letters Patent dated 19 July 2010, was introduced between Baroness Ramsay of Cartvale and Lord Macdonald of Tradeston, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. 4 House of Lords: reform A question was asked by Lord Selsdon and answered by Lord McNally.

5 Roads: illegal motorway advertisements A question was asked by Lord Harrison and answered by Earl Attlee.

6 Government: Office for Civil Society A question was asked by Baroness Andrews and answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

8 Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Amendment No. 2) Order 2010 Baroness Neville-Jones moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 12 July be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

9 Kabul conference Lord Howell of Guildford repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

10 Finance Bill A bill to grant certain duties, to alter other duties, and to amend the law relating to the National Debt and the Public Revenue, and to make further provision in connection with finance, certified by the Speaker as a money bill, was brought from the Commons and read a first time.

11 Women in society Baroness Verma moved that this House takes note of the position of women in society in the United Kingdom and overseas and the advancements that can be made for the development of women's potential. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
