1 Audit Commission A question was asked by Lord Harrison and answered by Baroness Hanham.

2 Pakistan: child welfare A question was asked by Baroness Massey of Darwen and answered by Baroness Verma.

3 Israel: illegal settlers A question was asked by Lord Wright of Richmond and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

4 Government efficiency: Sir Philip Green's report A question was asked by Lord Eatwell and answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

5 Superannuation Bill A bill to make provision for and in connection with limiting the value of the benefits which may be provided under so much of any scheme under section 1 of the Superannuation Act 1972 as provides by virtue of section 2(2) of that Act for benefits to be provided by way of compensation to or in respect of persons who suffer loss of office or employment; and to make provision modifying the effect of section 2(3) of the Superannuation Act 1972 in relation to such benefits was brought from the Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 22)

6 Superannuation Bill The Explanatory Notes on the bill were ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 22–EN)

7 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that the debate on the motion in the name of Baroness Massey of Darwen set down for today shall be limited to 2 hours and that in the name of Baroness Wall of New Barnet to 3 hours. The motion was agreed to.

8 Human trafficking (2-hour debate) Baroness Massey of Darwen moved for papers relating to the case for Government strategies to tackle human trafficking. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

9 Public bodies reform Lord Taylor of Holbeach repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

10 Apprenticeships (3-hour debate) Baroness Wall of New Barnet moved for papers relating to the case for maintaining and increasing apprenticeships in both the public and private sectors. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

11 Large-scale cyber-attacks (EUC Report) Lord Jopling moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on Protecting Europe against large-scale cyber-attacks (5th Report, Session 2009–10, HL Paper 68). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
