1 Climate change: Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change leadership A question was asked by Baroness Noakes and answered by Lord Marland.

2 Charities: war zones A question was asked by Lord James of Blackheath and answered by Lord McNally.

3 Iraq: Camp Ashraf A question was asked by Lord Archer of Sandwell, on behalf of Lord Corbett of Castle Vale, and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

4 Housing: shared ownership A question was asked by Baroness Gardner of Parkes and answered by Lord Sassoon.

5 Terrorist Asset-Freezing etc. Bill [HL] The report was received. Amendment 1 was disagreed to (see division list 1). Amendments were agreed to. Amendment 23A was disagreed to (see division list 2). The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 24)

6 Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules (Cm 7944) Lord Avebury moved that the Statement, laid before the House on 1 October, be disapproved. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

7 Statements of Changes in Immigration Rules (HC 59 and HC 96) Lord Hunt of Kings Heath moved that this House regrets that Her Majesty’s Government have laid before the House Statements of Changes in Immigration Rules (HC 59, laid on 28 June; and HC 96, laid on 15 July) in a way that limits direct Parliamentary scrutiny of the level of the immigration cap; and further regrets that the Government’s cap policy in relation to highly skilled migrants will damage the UK economy. The motion was disagreed to (see division list 3).
