5 Public Bodies Bill [HL] Lord Taylor of Holbeach presented a bill to confer powers on Ministers of the Crown in relation to certain public bodies and offices; to confer powers on Welsh Ministers in relation to environmental public bodies; to make provision in relation to forestry; to make provision about amendment of Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972; and for connected purposes. 7 Freedom of Information (Time for Compliance with Request) Regulations 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

8 European Communities (Definition of Treaties) (Central Africa Interim Economic Partnership Agreement) Order 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

10 Disabled People's Right to Control (Pilot Scheme) (England) Regulations 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

11 Asylum (First List of Safe Countries) (Amendment) Order 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

12 Immigration (Biometric Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

13 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that the debates on the motions in the names of Baroness Perry of Southwark and Lord Hunt of Wirral set down for today shall each be limited to 2½ hours. The motion was agreed to.

14 Education: pupils and young people (2½-hour debate) Baroness Perry of Southwark moved for papers relating to the case for providing excellence in education for all pupils and young people. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

15 Healthcare (2½-hour debate) Lord Hunt of Wirral moved for papers relating to the Government's policy on patient-led health care, the focus on clinical outcomes, and the role of health professionals. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

16 Education: languages A question was asked by Baroness Coussins and, after debate, answered by Baroness Garden of Frognal.
