8 Legislative and Regulatory Reform (Regulatory Functions) (Amendment) Order 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

9 Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

10 Immigration (Biometric Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 Earl Attlee moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 11 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.

11 Asylum (First List of Safe Countries) (Amendment) Order 2010 Earl Attlee moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 12 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.

12 Contaminated Blood (Support for Infected and Bereaved Persons) Bill [HL] The order of commitment was discharged.

13 Piracy: Operation Atalanta (EUC Report) Lord Teverson moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on Combating Somali Piracy: the EU's Naval Operation Atalanta (12th Report, Session 2009–10, HL Paper 103). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

14 Superannuation Bill The bill was reported from the Grand Committee with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 27)

15 House of Lords reform A question was asked by Lord Grocott and, after debate, answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

16 Civil List A question was asked by Lord Berkeley and, after debate, answered by Lord De Mauley.
