1 Baroness Carnegy of Lour The Lord Speaker informed the House that Baroness Carnegy of Lour, a member of the House, had died on 9 November 2010.

3 Treasure Act 1996 A question was asked by Lord Renfrew of Kaimsthorn and answered by Baroness Rawlings.

4 Energy: nuclear safety A question was asked by Lord Jenkin of Roding and answered by Lord Freud.

5 Burma: elections A question was asked by Baroness Cox and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

6 Equitable Life (Payments) Bill A bill to provide finance for payments in cases where persons have been adversely affected by maladministration in the regulation before December 2001 of the Equitable Life Assurance Society; and for connected purposes, certified by the Speaker as a money bill, was brought from the Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 28)

8 Health: cancer (Balloted debate)Baroness Finlay of Llandaff moved for papers relating to measures to improve the quality and quantity of life of people with cancer. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

9 Welfare reform Lord Freud repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

10 Public disorder at National Union of Students rally Baroness Neville-Jones repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

11 Diplomacy (Balloted debate) Lord Hannay of Chiswick moved for papers relating to the case for Britain to have a properly resourced and active diplomacy. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

12 Sport and recreation A question was asked by Lord Moynihan and, after debate, answered by Baroness Garden of Frognal.
