3 United Nations Security Council composition A question was asked by Lord Judd and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

4 Care: children A question was asked by Baroness Knight of Collingtree and answered by Lord Hill of Oareford.

5 Coroners and Justice Act 2009 A question was asked by Lord Jay of Ewelme and answered by Lord McNally.

6 Flooding: Cornwall A question was asked by Lord Clinton-Davis and answered by Lord Henley.

7 Torture (Damages) Bill [HL] Lord Archer of Sandwell presented a bill to make provision for actions for damages for torture; and for connected purposes. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 31)

8 Economic Affairs The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Shipley be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Maclennan of Rogart, resigned. The motion was agreed to.

9 Identity Documents Bill The bill was read a third time and passed. The bill was returned to the Commons with an amendment.

10 Schools White Paper Lord Hill of Oareford repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

11 Northern Ireland Assembly (Elections) (Amendment) Order 2010 Lord Shutt of Greetland moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 25 October be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

12 Local Elections (Northern Ireland) Order 2010 Lord Shutt of Greetland moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 25 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.

13 Equitable Life (Payments) Bill Lord Sassoon moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the Committee was negatived. Then, Standing Order 46 having been dispensed with, the bill was read a third time and passed.
