1 The Lord Bishop of Oxford John Lawrence Lord Bishop of Oxford was introduced between the Lord Bishop of Newcastle and the Lord Bishop of Lincoln, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
2 Lord Hennessy of Nympsfield Peter John Hennessy, Esquire, having been created Baron Hennessy of Nympsfield, of Nympsfield in the County of Gloucestershire, for life by Letters Patent dated 8 November 2010, was introduced between Lord Radice and Baroness Shephard of Northwold, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. 16 Health and safety: Common Sense Common Safety (3½-hour debate) Lord Young of Graffham moved for papers relating to the report to the Prime Minister Common Sense Common Safety on the operation of health and safety laws and the growth of the compensation culture. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
