6 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that Standing Order 46 (No two stages of a Bill to be taken on one day) be dispensed with on 21 December to allow the Consolidated Fund Bill to be taken through its remaining stages that day. The motion was agreed to.
7 Procedure of the House The Chairman of Committees moved that the 3rd Report from the Select Committee (HL Paper 71) be agreed to. The motion was agreed to.
8 Gulf of Mexico: oil spill (Balloted debate) Lord Moynihan moved for papers relating to the implications of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
9 Electricity market reform Lord Marland repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
10 National Health Service: reorganisation (Balloted debate) Lord Touhig moved for papers relating to the reorganisation of the National Health Service. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
11 Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006 (Directions to OFCOM) Order 2010 Lord De Mauley moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 27 July be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
