Prayers were read by the Lord Bishop of Gloucester.
1 Baroness Kramer Susan Veronica Kramer, having been created Baroness Kramer, of Richmond Park in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, for life by Letters Patent dated in the forenoon of 22 December 2010, was introduced between Baroness Hamwee and Lord Watson of Richmond, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 1)

4 Deaths of Lords The Lord Speaker informed the House that the following members of the House had died:
Lord Windlesham on 21 December 2010
Lord Strabolgi on 24 December 2010.
5 Tributes Tributes were paid to Lord Windlesham and Lord Strabolgi.

12 Blood and blood products Earl Howe repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
13 Health: Parkinson's Disease A question was asked by Baroness Gale and, after debate, answered by Earl Howe.
14 Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 54A. The House resumed after amendment 54A.
