Journal for 11 January 2011

Prayers were read by the Lord Bishop of Gloucester.

1 Lord True Nicholas Edward True, Esquire, CBE, having been created Baron True, of East Sheen in the County of Surrey, for life by Letters Patent dated in the forenoon of 23 December 2010, was introduced between Lord Strathclyde and Lord Howard of Rising, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 1)

2 Baroness Jolly Judith Anne Jolly, having been created Baroness Jolly, of Congdon’s Shop in the County of Cornwall, for life by Letters Patent dated in the forenoon of 24 December 2010, was introduced between Lord Tyler and Lord Teverson, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 2)

3 Lord Risby Richard John Grenville Spring, Esquire, having been created Baron Risby, of Haverhill in the County of Suffolk, for life by Letters Patent dated in the afternoon of 24 December 2010, was introduced between Lord Astor of Hever and Lord Mayhew of Twysden, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct. (See Appendix 3)
