2 Crime: media reporting A question was asked by the Lord Bishop of Chester and answered by Baroness Neville-Jones.

3 Equality A question was asked by Lord Smith of Clifton and answered by Lord Sassoon.

4 EU: police and justice A question was asked by Lord Pearson of Rannoch and answered by Lord McNally.

5 Citizens Advice Bureaux A question was asked by Lord Hunt of Kings Heath and answered by Baroness Wilcox.

6 Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Codes of Practice) (Revision of Codes A, B and D) Order 2011 Baroness Neville-Jones moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 17 November 2010 be approved. The motion was agreed to.

7 Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill Lord McNally moved that the Order of Consideration of 7 February be varied so that amendments to clause 12 be marshalled and considered before those to clause 10. The motion was agreed to.

8 Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 27G. Amendments 27GA, 16HA, 16J and 18F were disagreed to (see divisoin lists 1 to 4). Amendments were agreed to. The report stage was adjourned.

The House adjourned. The House resumed.

9 Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 18FA. The report stage was adjourned after amendment 22C.

10 Energy Bill [HL] The bill was reported from the Grand Committee with an amendment. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 45)

Grand Committee Business

The Grand Committee met in the Moses Room at 3.30pm.

Energy Bill [HL] The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 35. It was ordered that the bill be reported with an amendment.
