1 Earldom of Oxford and Asquith in the Peerage of the United Kingdom The Lord Chancellor reported that Raymond Benedict Bartholomew Michael Asquith (commonly called Viscount Asquith) had established his succession to the Earldom of Oxford and Asquith. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter the Earl of Oxford and Asquith on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5).
