6 Hereditary Peers' By-election The Clerk of the Parliaments informed the House that the Earl of Lytton had been elected in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 10 (Hereditary peers: by-elections) to fill the vacancy created by the death of Lord Monson among the peers excepted from section 1 of the House of Lords Act 1999.
7 Water Industry (Schemes for Adoption of Private Sewers) Regulations 2011 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
