2 Education: Bahraini students A question was asked by Lord Avebury and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

3 European Union: transfer of Iranian refugees A question was asked by Lord Corbett of Castle Vale and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

4 Courts: super injunctions A question was asked by Lord Stoneham of Droxford, on behalf of Lord Oakeshott of Seagrove Bay, and answered by Lord McNally.

5 Localism Bill A bill to make provision about the functions and procedures of local and certain other authorities; to make provision about the functions of the Local Commission for Administration in England; to enable the recovery of financial sanctions imposed by the Court of Justice of the European Union on the United Kingdom from local and public authorities; to make provision about local government finance; to make provision about town and country planning, the Community Infrastructure Levy and the authorisation of nationally significant infrastructure projects; to make provision about social and other housing; to make provision about regeneration in London; and for connected purposes was brought from the Commons. 7 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that the debate on the motion in the name of Lord Irvine of Lairg set down for today shall be limited to 3 hours and that in the name of Lord Beecham to 2 hours. The motion was agreed to.

8 Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1975 (Amendment) Order 2011 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

9 Export Control (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2011 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

10 European Convention on Human Rights (3-hour debate) Lord Irvine of Lairg moved for papers relating to the European Convention on Human Rights. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

11 Civil legal aid (2-hour debate) Lord Beecham moved for papers relating to the case for civil legal aid. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

12 Employment and Support Allowance (Work-Related Activity) Regulations 2011 Lord Freud moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 28 February be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

13 Social Security (Electronic Communications) Order 2011 Lord Freud moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 14 March be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
