Prayers were read by the Lord Bishop of Derby.

1 Lord Taylor of Warwick The Lord Speaker informed the House that the Clerk of the Parliaments had received notification from the Court Manager of the Crown Court at Southwark informing him that Lord Taylor of Warwick, having been convicted on 28 January 2011 of six counts of furnishing false information relating to accounts, was sentenced on 31 May 2011 to 12 months' imprisonment.

2 Barony of Kennet in the Peerage of the United Kingdom The Lord Chancellor reported that William Aldus Young had established his succession to the Barony of Kennet. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter Lord Kennet on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5).

3 National Health Service: reform A question was asked by Lord Kennedy of Southwark and answered by Earl Howe.

4 Health: Brittle Bone Society A question was asked by Lord McAvoy and answered by Earl Howe.

5 Banks: cheques A question was asked by Lord Naseby and answered by Lord Sassoon.

6 European Union: financial and monetary co-ordination A question was asked by Lord Dykes and answered by Lord Sassoon.

7 European Union Bill Lord Howell of Guildford moved that the amendments for the Report stage be marshalled and considered in the following order:

Schedule 1
Clauses 7 to 17

Schedule 2
Clauses 18 to 22.

The motion was agreed to.

8 Police Reform and Social Responsibility Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 81. The House resumed after amendment 123AB.

9 Women: Special Operations Executive A question was asked by Baroness Crawley and, after debate, answered by Baroness Verma.

The House adjourned. The House resumed.

10 Police Reform and Social Responsibility Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 123B. The House resumed after clause 73 was agreed to.
