1 His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh The Lord Chamberlain, Earl Peel, delivered Her Majesty’s reply to the Address of 8 June, as follows:
I have received your address about His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh on the occasion of his ninetieth birthday. It gives me great pleasure to convey to the Duke of Edinburgh the loyal and affectionate sentiments you express on behalf of My Lords.
2 Royal Assent The Lord Speaker (Baroness Hayman) notified the Queen’s Assent to the following Act:

3 Viscountcy and Barony of Hailsham in the Peerage of the United Kingdom The Petition of Douglas Martin Hogg claiming to have succeeded to the Viscountcy and Barony of Hailsham in the Peerage of the United Kingdom and praying that the Clerk of the Parliaments might be directed to enter the petitioner as Viscount Hailsham on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5) was presented and referred to the Lord Chancellor for a report to the House pursuant to Standing Order 11.

8 Export Control (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2011 Baroness Wilcox moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 15 April be approved. The motion was agreed to.
9 Taxation of Equitable Life (Payments) Order 2011 Lord Sassoon moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 21 March be approved. The motion was agreed to.
10 European Union Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 11. Amendment 14 was agreed to (see division list 1). Further amendments were agreed to. Amendment 22 was disagreed to (see division list 2). The report stage was adjourned.
11 Consumer Insurance (Disclosure and Representations) Bill [HL] The Second Reading Committee reported that it had considered the bill.
12 Contracting Out (Local Authorities Social Services Functions) (England) Order 2011 Earl Howe moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 10 May be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
The House adjourned. The House resumed.
13 European Union Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 22A. The report stage was adjourned after amendment 31.
The House adjourned at 10.23pm until Tuesday 14 June at 2.30pm.
