2 House of Lords Annual Report It was ordered that the House of Lords Annual Report 2010–11, as authorised by the House Committee, be printed. (HL Paper 187)
3 Dukedom of Grafton in the Peerage of England The Lord Chancellor reported that Henry Oliver Charles Fitzroy had established his succession to the Dukedom of Grafton. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter the Duke of Grafton on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5).

18 Localism Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 148ZZC. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed.
19 Draft Financial Services Bill A message was brought from the Commons that they concur with the resolution of this House of 21 June relating to a Joint Committee to consider the draft Financial Services Bill presented to both Houses on 16 June (Cm 8083);
and that they have made the following orders:
That a Select Committee of six Members be appointed to join with the Committee appointed by the Lords.
That the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 1 December 2011.
That the Committee shall have power–
(i) to send for persons, papers and records;
(ii) to sit notwithstanding any adjournment of the House;
(iii) to report from time to time;
(iv) to appoint specialist advisers; and
(v) to adjourn from place to place within the United Kingdom.
20 Schools: funding reform Lord Hill of Oareford repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
