The following Report from the Joint Committee was made and ordered to be printed:

Public Business

3 Visas: domestic workers A question was asked by Baroness Hamwee and answered by Lord Henley.

4 Biodiesel A question was asked by Lord Palmer and answered by Earl Attlee.

5 Legal aid A question was asked by Baroness Benjamin and answered by Lord McNally.

6 Egypt A question was asked by Baroness Berridge and answered by Lord Howell of Guildford.

7 Freedom of Information (Designation as Public Authorities) Order 2011 Lord McNally moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 5 September be approved. The motion was agreed to.

8 Live Music Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time and passed and sent to the Commons.

9 Education Bill The report was received. Amendments 7 and 17 were disagreed to (see division lists 1 and 2). The report stage was adjourned.

10 India A question was asked by Lord Parekh and, after debate, answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.

11 Education Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 33. Amendments were agreed to. The report stage was adjourned after amendment 54.

Grand Committee Business

Welfare Reform Bill The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 34ZA. The Committee adjourned after amendment 36.
