Public Business

1 House of Lords Reform Bill [HL] Lord Steel of Aikwood moved that it be an instruction to the Committee of the Whole House to which the House of Lords Reform Bill has been committed that they consider the bill in the following order:

Clauses 10 to 19
Clauses 1 to 9.

After debate the motion was agreed to (see division list 1).

2 Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims (Amendment) Bill A bill to amend section 5 of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 to include serious harm to a child or vulnerable adult; to make consequential amendments to the Act; and for connected purposes was brought from the Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 104)

3 House of Lords Reform Bill [HL] The bill was considered in Committee. Amendments were agreed to. Clause 10 was agreed to (see division list 2). A motion that the question on amendment 3 be now put was disagreed to (tellers for the Contents not having been appointed) pursuant to Standing Order 53. The House resumed and the bill was reported with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 105)
