2 Youth services A question was asked by Baroness Royall of Blaisdon and answered by Lord Hill of Oareford.

3 Scotland: Director General for External Affairs A question was asked by Lord Forsyth of Drumlean and answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.

4 Companion to the Standing Orders A question was asked by Lord Williams of Elvel and answered by Lord Strathclyde.

5 Government: commercial lobbying of ministers A question was asked by Lord Low of Dalston and answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.

6 Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Consequential Modifications of Enactments) Order 2011 Lord Wallace of Tankerness moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 14 July be approved. The motion was agreed to.

7 Health and Social Care Bill The bill was considered in Committee. Amendment 1 was disagreed to (see division list). The debate on amendment 3 was adjourned. The House resumed.

8 London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Amendment) Bill The bill was reported from the Grand Committee with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 106)

London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Amendment) Bill The Grand Committee considered the bill. Amendments were agreed to. It was ordered that the bill be reported with amendments.
