Public Business

3 Police: station closures A question was asked by Lord Hunt of Kings Heath and answered by Lord Henley.

4 European Union: economy A question was asked by Lord Dykes and answered by Lord Sassoon.

5 National Health Service: private healthcare A question was asked by Lord Collins of Highbury and answered by Earl Howe.

6 Energy: carbon capture and storage A question was asked by Lord Ezra and answered by Lord Marland.

7 Health and Social Care Bill Lord Kennedy of Southwark presented a petition from Lewisham SOS NHS, praying that the House will recognise the clear present and future danger of the Health and Social Care Bill 2011 to the health and wellbeing of people and withdraw the Bill from further consideration forthwith. The petition was laid on the Table.

8 Procedure of the House The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord True be appointed an alternate member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Hunt of Wirral, resigned. The motion was agreed to.

9 Rehabilitation of Offenders (Amendment) Bill [HL] The report was received.

10 Health and Social Care Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with the resumed debate on amendment 3. The House resumed.

11 Big Society A question was asked by Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede and, after debate, answered by Lord McNally.

12 Health and Social Care Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 12. The House resumed after amendment 12.
