2 Food: prices A question was asked by Lord Knight of Weymouth and answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

3 Health: cancer drug fund A question was asked by Baroness Morgan of Drefelin and answered by Earl Howe.

4 Media: ownership A question was asked by Baroness Scotland of Asthal and answered by Baroness Rawlings.

5 Al-Qaida (Asset-Freezing) Regulations 2011 Lord Sassoon moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 11 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.

6 Health and Social Care Bill After debate, the bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 46. Amendment 46 was agreed to (see division list). The House resumed.

7 Agriculture: egg industry A question was asked by the Earl of Shrewsbury and, after debate, answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

The House adjourned. The House resumed.

8 Health and Social Care Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 51. The House resumed after amendment 60.

9 Education Bill The bill was returned from the Commons with the amendments agreed to.
