Baroness Knight of Collingtree, Chairman of the Select Committee, reported that, in accordance with Private Business Standing Order 108 (Adjournment of committee on opposed bill), the Committee had adjourned to further deliberate on the bills.

3 Violence against women and girls A question was asked by Baroness Gale and answered by Baroness Verma.

4 Employment law: unfair dismissal A question was asked by Lord Clinton-Davis and answered by Baroness Wilcox.

5 Transport: fuel prices A question was asked by Lord Steel of Aikwood and answered by Baroness Wilcox.

6 International Monetary Fund A question was asked by Lord Barnett and answered by Lord Sassoon.

7 Business of the House Lord McNally, on behalf of Lord Strathclyde, moved that the debates on the motions in the names of Lord Sugar and Baroness Pitkeathley set down for today shall each be limited to 2½ hours. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

8 Government procurement policy (2½-hour debate) Lord Sugar moved that this House takes note of Government procurement policy. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

9 Funding of care and support (2½-hour debate) Baroness Pitkeathley moved that this House takes note of the report of the Commission on Funding of Care and Support and the future of social care. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

10 Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2011 Baroness Stowell of Beeston moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 25 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.

11 Voluntary sector funding A question was asked by the Lord Bishop of Ripon and Leeds and, after debate, answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.
