6 European Union: member states' budgets A question was asked by Lord Willoughby de Broke and answered by Lord Sassoon.

7 Young people: NEET A question was asked by Baroness Jones of Whitchurch and answered by Lord Freud.

8 London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Advertising and Trading) (England) Regulations 2011 Baroness Garden of Frognal moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 10 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.

9 Protection of Freedoms Bill The bill was considered in Committee (in respect of clauses 1–25, 54–56, 64–84 and Schedules 1, 4 and 7). Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed for a statement.

10 London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Amendment) Bill The bill was returned from the Commons with the amendments agreed to.

11 Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill The bill was returned from the Commons with the amendments agreed to.

12 Public Bodies Bill [HL] The bill was returned from the Commons with the amendments agreed to and the Commons amendments not insisted on.

13 Autumn Budget Lord Sassoon answered questions on a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

14 Protection of Freedoms Bill The bill was further considered in Committee (in respect of clauses 1–25, 54–56, 64–84 and Schedules 1, 4 and 7). Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed after Schedule 4 was agreed to.
