Public Business

3 Phone hacking A question was asked by Lord Fowler and answered by Lord Henley.

4 European Union: repatriation of powers A question was asked by Lord Grenfell and answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.

5 Health: oral cancer detection A question was asked by Baroness Gardner of Parkes and answered by Earl Howe.

6 Energy: tariffs A question was asked by Baroness Smith of Basildon and answered by Lord Marland.

7 Renewable Transport Fuel Obligations (Amendment) Order 2011 Earl Attlee moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 14 November be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

8 Protection of Freedoms Bill The bill was further considered in Committee (in respect of clauses 1–25, 54–56, 64–84 and Schedules 1, 4 and 7), beginning with amendment 58. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed and clauses 1–25, 54–56, 64–84 and Schedules 1, 4 and 7 were reported to the House with amendments.

9 Life sciences Earl Howe repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

10 Food waste A question was asked by Baroness Jenkin of Kennington and, after debate, answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.
