1 Viscountcy of Melville in the Peerage of the United Kingdom The Petition of Robert Henry Kirkpatrick Dundas claiming to have succeeded to the Viscountcy of Melville in the Peerage of the United Kingdom and praying that the Clerk of the Parliaments might be directed to enter the petitioner as Viscount Melville on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 10(5) was presented and referred to the Lord Chancellor for a report to the House pursuant to Standing Order 11.

6 Bank of Ireland (UK) plc Bill The bill was read a third time and passed.
7 Procedure of the House The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Filkin be appointed an alternate member of the Select Committee. The motion was agreed to.
8 Standing Orders (Public Business) Lord Strathclyde moved that the Standing Orders relating to public business be amended as follows:
Standing Order 37 (Balloted and time-limited debates)
Replace paragraph (1) with the following: "If a balloted debate or a time-limited debate is continuing at the end of the time allotted to it, the Clerk at the Table shall rise and thereupon the Lord Speaker shall either put the Question forthwith or ask the mover of the Motion whether or not he wishes to withdraw it. If the mover does not ask leave to withdraw, or if leave to withdraw is refused, the Lord Speaker shall put the Question forthwith."
In paragraph (2), leave out "a balloted debate or".

9 European Union (Definition of Treaties) (Republic of Korea Framework Agreement) Order 2012 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
10 Local Authorities (Conduct of Referendums) (England) Regulations 2012 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
11 City of Wakefield (Mayoral Referendum) Order 2012 Lord Strathclyde moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
